SGL Planning & Design Inc. (SGL) is a fully integrated planning and design firm specializing in land use planning, urban design, landscape architecture and development approvals. Our firm was founded in 1997 on the principle of delivering high quality products on time and within budget for both public and private sector clients.
SGL is widely known for its expertise in the formulation of land use plans and polices, as well as landscape architecture and urban design strategies that are realistic, feasible, implementable and defensible.

2022 marks SGL’s 25th AnniversarY
SGL began as a small 3 person firm formerly known as Sorensen Gravely Lowes Planning associates Inc. Warren Sorensen, Catherine Gravely and Paul Lowes, our founding partners, came together to form a very successful consulting practice that has grown over the last two and a half decades. SGL has developed into an integrated planning and design firm specializing in land use planning, urban design, landscape architecture and development approvals, all while maintaining our core firm principle of delivering high quality products that are realistic, feasible, implementable, and defensible. We are proud of the success and growth of our company and the many private and public sector projects we have completed over the years.
