SGL began assisting the Town of Innisfil with preparing a town-wide Community Planning Permit System in 2022. As part of Phase 1 of the project, SGL prepared a series of technical papers which supported the development of a Background Study and Strategic Directions Report. The work completed as part of Phase 1 will guide Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the CPPS project.

Phase 2 of the project includes the preparation of Placemaking and Sustainable Design Guidelines while Phase 3 will encompass the engagement and draft official plan amendment, CPPS By-law and implementation guidelines.
