Green Lane Secondary Plan

Alongside a multi-disciplinary team, SGL was retained to develop land use options and a policy framework for the Green Lane Secondary Plan area. The Secondary Plan process was led concurrently with a Master Environmental Servicing Plan (MESP) process to deliver both products. Based on extensive public outreach, the Green Lane Secondary Plan was developed to deliver a sustainable, pedestrian-friendly neighbourhood. Key aspects of the plan are two mixed use nodes, pedestrian oriented retail areas, office priority areas, and mixed-use and office requirements in phased development of the mixed-use nodes. The Secondary Plan, adopted by Council in 2018, plans for a mixed-use community of approximately 10,000 units.
